Addictive Is The New Epic

In this addictively epic edition of Speak-Up on Kotaku, commenter Aikage the Skilled Furby is having trouble dealing with the video game industry’s ever-changing buzzwords. Apparently, “addictive” is the new “epic”. A while yono business back we started seeing that every game included an “epic” storyline where the fate of the universe rested in the balance. Now, every time I see a game, somewhere, somehow, the word “addictive” will pop up like we’re all a bunch of crack addicts waiting for our next fix. Battle through 93 maps with old school addictive gameplay!
